With hundreds of trackers impacting millions of users every day, this role is critical in building and improving end user experiences across American Express.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support product planning, delivery, and support of tagging and tracking solutions across web and mobile platforms.
  • Partner with senior product managers to maintain roadmaps, prioritize work, and drive delivery across engineering and operations teams.
  • Translate product requirements into user stories and work with engineering to ensure accurate and timely implementation.
  • Collaborate with compliance and privacy stakeholders to implement consent and preference management requirements across digital channels.
  • Assist in building and maintaining metadata standards, tagging specifications, and consent-related taxonomies.
  • Ensure tagging implementations comply with data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Contribute to issue tracking, UAT, and root cause analysis of data anomalies or tagging defects.
  • Participate in the optimization of tagging operations, including configuration of tag management systems and documentation processes.
  • Monitor key product metrics and support experimentation, A/B testing, and analytics enablement across teams.
  • Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile boards to track and manage backlog items, user stories, and delivery progress.
  • Keep up with industry trends in tagging technology, browser changes, and evolving privacy regulations.

Qualifications Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in product management, digital analytics, tag management, or a related technical role.
  • Familiarity with customer consent and preference management tools, policies, or frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating across product, engineering, and compliance teams.

  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery processes and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and/or Rally.
  • A high level of personal accountability, curiosity, and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
