This is an exciting and dynamic position of Sr Business Systems Analyst in the MIS & Analytics Team. The MIS & Analytics Team is responsible for enabling the GSG processes to operate at the most efficient and effective levels by establishing best in class MIS and analytics tools.

This position will primarily support the KYC / AML processes.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Learn and understand the processes and systems used within the KYC / AML ecosystem mainly focused on India Market
  • Investigate available data sources, provide recommendations for incremental data needs, and work with data owners on sourcing
  • Define and build appropriate metrics to evaluate the performance of the KYC / AML processes
  • Define and build Executive and process level dashboards providing visibility to process performance
  • Conduct insightful analysis that assists leadership on process enhancement opportunities
  • Work as part of a diverse team of subject matter experts to partner with multiple business units including International Card Services, Global Merchant & Network Services, Operations, Compliance, product and engineering teams to collaborate on strategies and process improvements that meet compliance and regulatory standards while minimizing operational risk

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Comfort executed in a certain level of ambiguity
  • Experience using current AMEX big data tools (Cornerstone, Hive, Yellowbrick, LUMI, etc)
  • High proficiency in data analysis and understanding of WCC rules and other capabilities
  • Experience creating dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, etc)
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a team player
  • Ability to deconstruct processes and understand the data environment behind the process
  • Strong communication skills – ability to translate complex subjects to the understanding level of the audience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of internal Global Services Group processes, systems and functional areas strongly preferred (Servicing, Credit,
    Payments, GSP/ISP, CSP, WCC, CLIC, Griffin, GO2, EDU, etc.)
  • Experience collaborating with product and capabilities teams
  • Project management experience
