AnitaB.org is a global nonprofit organization founded by computer scientists Anita Borg and Telle Whitney that focuses on recruiting, retaining, and advancing women in technology. The organization's mission is to get women in tech skilled, hired, promoted, paid, and funded so they can thrive, lead, and drive innovation for a more equitable and sustainable future. AnitaB.org operates in more than 50 countries and runs prominent programs including the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Conference, the world's largest gathering of women in computing.
