Position Overview
Apollo is seeking an Associate to support its Institutional sales team within EMEA. The Institutional Client Group is a vertically integrated sales channel and sits within Apollo’s broader Client & Product Solutions (CPS) ecosystem designed to provide institutional clients access to a growing range of solutions across yield, hybrid, equity, and retirement services that go beyond the public markets. The Associate will partner closely with the regional sales leads to drive and execute regional sales strategy while also maintaining connectivity with counterparts across the US and APAC on joint initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Partner closely with EMEA institutional sales team to support on capital raising efforts
Collaborate with global product specialists and investor relations teams to coordinate information for LP requests andmarketing materials
Manage investor research and compile materials for roadshows, presentations, and pitches
Keep abreast of latest product performances updates, proactively providing aftersales for all products with a specificemphasis on evergreen products
Lead operational support on product structuring, marketing/event requests, and updates to materials
Attend research meetings and compile organized summaries, clearly articulating follow-ups and deadlines
Own management of Salesforce/CRM activity and related data requests
Provide excellent and professional client service, always representing Apollo’s core values
Meaningfully contributes to strategic dialogue and collaborates effectively with CPS colleagues, investment teams, andexternal partners
Grow into taking ownership of client accounts and building relationships across industry networks to originate and providecore sales support
Client onboarding and coordinating outreach for fundraising initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of relevant sales, marketing, or investor relations experience at an alternative asset management firm
Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university
European language fluency (French, Dutch, Scandinavian advantageous)
Strong understanding of financial markets required and good knowledge of private markets landscape (private credit, infrastructure, real estate, private equity)
Takes initiative and is accountable for driving processes to conclusion
Superior interpersonal skills; builds and maintains strong relationships/credibility with external clients
Excellent ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
Entrepreneurial, self-guided work ethic with results-driven orientation
Excels in a fast-paced, rigorous work environment; effectively prioritizes and meets deadlines
