Position Overview
Apollo is seeking an Analyst to join the Institutional Client Group (ICG) in Asia Pacific (APAC) to help drive regional fundraising and strategic account initiatives across the institutional business.
This individual will work closely with the APAC ICG leadership, including the Head of APAC ICG, the APAC ICG Strategic Accounts lead, and the APAC ICG COO, to drive execution across fundraising strategy, strategic account development, and commercial business management.
The role sits at the centre of regional commercial execution, helping drive alignment across capital formation teams while contributing directly to strategic account development, fundraising priorities, and business growth across APAC. This position offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders, strategic accounts, and fundraising initiatives across the region.
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Commercial Execution
- Partner on the development and execution of strategic business plans for institutional fundraising in APAC
- Drive tracking and delivery of key regional initiatives, including sales optimization and go-to-market efforts
- Prepare analysis, updates, presentations that inform senior management discussions and commercial decision making
- Drive the weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating rhythm across APAC ICG
Top Account Development & Fundraising Strategy
- Partner on coverage and development of key strategic accounts across APAC alongside the head of ICG, Strategic Account team and regional sales teams
- Help drive account planning, opportunity identification, and relationship prioritisation across strategic accounts
- Advance day-to-day execution across key accounts in partnership with sales, product, and other internal teams
- Develop bespoke materials for meetings, updates, and strategic partnership discussions with institutional clients
- Ensure momentum against follow ups and deliverables related to key client relationships and fundraising priorities
- Partner with Marketing and Sales teams on client engagement initiatives, including conferences, events, and strategic meetings
- Help identify opportunities to deepen client engagement and strengthen strategic relationships across APAC
Commercial Analytics, Reporting & Systems
- Act as an AI champion for the APAC ICG team, helping embed AI into day-to-day workstreams, particularly across analytics, reporting, pipeline management, and business insights
- Produce reporting and analysis for the APAC sales team, including pipeline tracking, activity reporting, and ad hoc commercial analysis
- Maintain CRM systems and ensure accuracy and integrity of client and activity data to support forecasting and account strategy
- Contribute to improving reporting tools and processes in partnership with relevant teams to strengthen commercial visibility and decision making
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with global ICG COO teams to ensure consistency in reporting, execution, and commercial coordination
- Partner on cross-functional initiatives with Finance, Human Capital, Marketing, and other teams that support regional growth
- Contribute to a clear and consistent view of business priorities, pipeline activity, and strategic account progress across APAC
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong academic record with Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 1–4 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, consulting, or a related field
- Strong interest in fundraising, client strategy, and alternative asset management, with familiarity across private credit, private equity, and related strategies preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare senior-level materials
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work across geographies and functions
- Commercially minded, proactive, and execution-focused with a willingness to take ownership of deliverables
- Ability to connect analysis and execution to business outcomes
- High level of professionalism and strong alignment with compliance standards
