The responsibilities of this role include development of test automation, expansion of current frameworks and tests, and additional development of new frameworks to help us deliver software of highest quality.

Description

This role will also be able to take on the work of development of new test automation and infrastructure for new features coming online as part of our yearly feature work and will be able to assume the role of a quality and/or automation DRI for displays features. This role will work closely with our engineering teams both within GGML and cross functional to achieve their objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS + 4 years of industry experience
  • 3+ years of programming experience and fluency in Python or Swift
  • Experienced in working with, developing and maintaining automation test harnesses/frameworks
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
  • Solid understanding of *NIX-based systems and command-line tools for debugging, analysis, and automation
  • Excellent fundamental understanding of the software development process (proof of concept to shipping)

  • Self-Motivated Professional, able to drive, lead and deliver large scale projects
  • Effective Communicator with strong collaboration skills with ability to work with large teams
  • Creative thinker, passionate about quality with ability to think differently
  • Experience working with displays (embedded or otherwise) is a big plus
  • iOS and macOS power user experience is a plus
