Description

The AppleCare Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the WW AppleCare organization in this high-visibility role. Responsibilities include: - Provide monthly forecast and quarterly activities for Warranty, Quality Programs, Freight Warranty, and CSAT, such as booking entries, accruals, balance sheet, and completing reconciliations. - Forecast expected future claims in Warranty, Quality Programs, and Freight Warranty, and CSAT, based on historical actuals, seasonal deviations, and other uplift factors. - Fulfill quarterly requirements for transfer pricing forecasts submitted to Corporate FP&A. - Lead and coordinate the execution of all AppleCare Finance internal controls on a quarterly basis in adherence to Sarbanes–Oxley Act (SOX) parameters. Take on role as SOX walkthrough coordinator to be single point of contact between AppleCare Finance teams and SOX Program Office or external auditors - Complete all statutory audit requests including those needed by our regional counterparts in EMEA and APAC. - Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in AppleCare Business Intelligence (ACBI), GBS, readiness engineering and providing guidance on financial transactions. - Periodically review current process to identify shortfall to future needs, streamline and enhance as needed, and implement automation initiatives for both our team and our regional counterparts in EMEA and APAC

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field of study
  • CPA certification required

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience; MBA or Master's of Accounting strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including extensive experience presenting to leadership groups
  • Strong work ethics, produce high quality work to meet tight deadline in a dynamic environment, collaborates effectively with colleagues and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to examine large data set, extract data efficiently, and identify drivers for cycle to cycle changes
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in SAP, Tableau, Dataiku is preferred.
