Apple’s Worldwide Market Research & Analytics team is seeking a dynamic iPad Research Manager to manage global research initiatives. This role requires deep business acumen, expertise in a range of research methodologies, and the ability to navigate market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
Description
This role will be instrumental in developing research roadmaps, providing a complete understanding of the iPad customer, identifying new market opportunities, and evaluating the competitive landscape. We’re looking for a market researcher with a strong grasp of innovative research techniques and methodologies. The ideal candidate is a skilled data storyteller, capable of synthesizing insights from diverse sources and presenting high-impact findings to key partners. You should be an expert in articulating the iPad opportunity in our markets and providing the leadership team with comprehensive product information from introduction to end-of-life. You should thrive in both independent and collaborative environments, managing multiple time-sensitive projects across global and cross-functional teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in market research functions within a global company, managing multi-market, multi-lingual projects.
- In-depth iPad market knowledge and Apple brand understanding.
- Clear understanding of Apple products and marketing approach.
- Advanced degree in Business Management, Statistics, Economics or Market Research.
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive market research and agency project management experience.
- Prior experience on a global research team, specifically focused on Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (CEEMEA) markets, addressing local business needs.
- Experience in building research briefs, plans, and recommendations improving customer experience.
- Exhibit outstanding storytelling, including content creation and delivery under tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and collaborate in a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, open-minded, and effective listener, distilling complex decisions into simple research projects.
- Able to design, implement, analyze, and translate research findings into actionable strategies.
- Highly analytical, strategic planning mindset, capable of cutting data and performing advanced analysis (regressions, factor analysis, cluster analysis, etc.) when necessary.
- Strong project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills along with proficiency in Excel, SPSS, Tableau, Qualtrics, Python and Keynote.
- Prior experience collaborating with international teams within a multinational organization.
