This nimble, multi-disciplinary team of creative technologists, artists and designers works together to drive innovation in rapidly evolving fields such as spatial and generative computing. We partner with teams across the company to evolve how we work with emerging technologies to improve our internal workflows and customer facing experiences.
Description
Product Designers define the UX and visual design of interactive experiences across multiple platforms, with a focus on spatial and generative computing. They spend their time in the studio collaboratively researching, designing, prototyping, presenting, and debating ideas. They are responsible for discovering and evangelizing new research as well as educating and driving adoption of emerging technologies in internal workflows and new customer experiences. Their clear vision of the future of design and technology inspires the team and others to push the boundaries of what’s possible. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Craft stunning visual designs and prototype world-class product experiences leveraging spatial and generative computing, user interface principles, materials, inputs, and physics. - Quickly grasp and distill highly complex, ambiguous concepts and turn them into simple, useful and delightful product experiences. - Present and solicit feedback on designs, prototypes and concepts with our cross functional partners, stakeholders and executives. - Proactively create and maintain best practices and processes that collectively raise quality and productivity of team output.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in product or experience design
- A portfolio that demonstrates projects across a variety of platforms such as mobile, spatial, web or others
- Ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations. Highly skilled and fast in any tools you need to visualize your ideas and deliver the work
- Excellent visual design and conceptual skills accompanied by the ability to guide, evaluate, and redirect creative development of a multidisciplinary team
- Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing products for virtual, augmented, or mixed reality using tools like Blender, Unity or equivalent software
- Experience designing with generative AI technologies like LLMs, and Visual AI prototyping tools like ComfyUI
- Ability to rapidly adapt and implement new technologies in service of project goals. Comfortable in a design space where experience goals can be both enabled and constrained by new technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence while advocating for your ideas.
- Ability to cut through ambiguity and find an elegant path forward, despite uncertainty or challenges.
- Intrinsic ability to share knowledge and inspire others, driving adoption of new technologies and workflows.
- Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
