Our team is a diverse and nimble group that manages Apple’s retail stores, workplaces, and workplace services. We develop and manage Apple’s global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world. The Strategic Sourcing Group on the Places Team own the commercial relationship with our Owner Furnished Item (OFI) manufacturing partners and are responsible for cost negotiations, continuity of supply, risk management, driving operational and cost efficiencies through process or design change, as well overall project execution and delivery. The group sits at the intersection of Apple's Supply Chain Development (SCD) and Construction Development teams, and effectively balance the needs of both groups to ensure successful project deliveries. Fit out components (such as the display fixtures and wall panels) define the look, feel and expression of Apple’s globally recognized retail stores and offices. Strategic Sourcing Managers work in concert with R&D, Design, Development, Operations, Merchandising and Facilities to deliver these extraordinary projects. Together, these teams execute and launch both new and reimagined spaces used by both Apple employees and customers across the world. We are seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Fixtures and Technology to play a key role within the Sourcing and Fulfillment team. This role is responsible for supporting the sourcing and installation of specific construction materials used in the Apple Retail Stores and managing a team of sourcing managers within the Strategic Sourcing Group. This individual will help drive the strategic vision and execution for the group.
