The Audio and Media Technologies Group (AMT) provides the media and audio foundation across all of Apple's innovative products. The CoreMedia engineering team within AMT is responsible for implementing software services around linear audiovisual media. This includes local media playback, video-on-demand and live streaming of multimedia content. Our media engine is used across Apple products such as Safari, TV, Photos, Music, Videos, FaceTime and iMovie, as well as 3rd party applications. Our team is looking for a software engineer with a technical and programming background to help screen, triage and debug issues for our team. This individual will also help in the enhancement and development of existing and new features. Experience in development and debugging of large software systems and/or significant components of such systems is desired. Experience with media playback and transcoding systems is preferred.
