The Apple Pay and Wallet team is seeking a Product Manager with a passion for digital identity to help deliver innovative, secure, and user-centric experiences. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams across Apple to define, build, and launch new features that expand what users can do with their IDs in Wallet. You should bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on product execution, thrives in collaborative environments, and is eager to grow within a dynamic and fast-evolving space
  • As a Product Manager on the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce team, you will contribute to defining and launching next-generation digital identity experiences for users around the world. You’ll collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross-functional partners to define product requirements, manage execution, and ensure features meet Apple’s high standards for quality, privacy, and usability.
  • You’ll help analyze user and partner needs, define clear problem statements, and support the delivery of features that build trust and convenience for users. You’ll also work with external partners to test and validate new experiences, while ensuring they align with Apple’s principles of simplicity and user control.
  • This role offers the opportunity to gain deep experience in one of Apple’s most exciting product areas and to grow as part of a collaborative, high-impact team shaping the future of identity. Travel will be required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of experience in product management or program management, ideally within identity, authentication, or platform technologies
  • Proven success defining and launching features with cross-functional teams
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate optimally with engineers and designers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex topics for diverse audiences
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to prioritize and deliver on time
  • Experience in digital identity, verification, or authentication systems
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 18013-5, NIST IAL/AAL, or ICAO DTC
  • Understanding of modern verification techniques, assurance levels, and trust frameworks
  • Awareness of advancements in biometrics and their application in identity systems
  • Passion for user experience and a deep appreciation for Apple’s design and privacy principles
  • Proactive, curious, and collaborative team member with a desire to learn and grow
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
