The AIML Evaluation organization partners across Apple to measure, understand, and proactively improve our products and features like Siri and Apple Intelligence.
We are looking for an outstanding ML Engineer that empowers other Data Scientists and ML Engineers to do their best work.
- Partner across engineering organizations to build tooling, processes, and methodologies to evaluate new features before launch
- Develop data pipelines and frameworks that provide metrics and insights into how our users engage with features and how our products can be improved
- Solve technical challenges in innovative ways
- Leverage engineering best practices to improve team productivity
- 7+ years of industry experience in ML Engineering or Data Science
- Experience leading strategic technical projects with multiple stakeholders that result in significant organizational impact
- Strong programming skills in Python and Spark with experience building data pipelines and ML systems at scale
- Experience leveraging LLMs, feature engineering, and machine learning to develop metrics and generate insights to improve the user experience
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and mentor ML Engineers or Data Scientists
- Ph.D. in a technical or quantitative field such as Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or 10+ years of industry experience with demonstrated technical leadership
- Passion for improving the user experience while preserving user privacy
- Track record of quickly ramping on new technologies
