The Bluetooth Quality team is looking for a motivated, highly-technical Bluetooth QA Engineer with an ability to seek solutions to unusual problems with valued interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the best customer experience and quality of Bluetooth in the latest Apple products.
As a successful Wireless Bluetooth Quality Engineer, you will focus on testing Bluetooth enabled features in Appleʼs innovative products.
- Validate features manually and with automation.
- Drive quality and champion bug fixes, working closely with development teams to identify root cause and provide debugging information.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to get requirements.
- Design comprehensive test plans for new features, factoring in technical details and the customer experience.
- Triage for any discrepancies as well as monitor and drive customer issues.
- Complete both documented and ad hoc testing to ensure high quality releases.
- Bring up, perform regular maintenance and debugging of test setups and scripts.
- You have a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- You have 3 years of experience in validating and testing products with domain expertise in one of these areas: Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, Audio, or Wireless RF protocols.
- You have 2 years of experience in defining test plans and creating test cases based on technical specifications and feature requirements.
- You have 1 year of experience in developing testing scripts using Python, Perl or other programming languages.
- You're a highly motivated, dedicated, quick learner with ability to work individually and as a team
- You have exceptional problem solving and debugging skills.
- You have excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.
- You have efficient time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast paced environment.
- You're laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers.
- Experience on Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins is a plus.
