This Physical Production team collaborates with Marcom’s creative & production partners, executing a wide variety of premium content.
The Technical Producer supports the video production teams, leading technical production workflows & research & development.
- Manage the technical and logistical aspects of a project, including creating and adhering to production schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with video producers & creative teams to translate ideas into technical executions.
- Lead research and development of new technological production workflows & tools.
- Oversee the selection, setup, and operation of technical equipment such as sound, lighting, and video, and stay updated on new technologies.
- Ensure all technical work meets high-quality standards and is conducted in a safe manner, often by creating and enforcing health and safety protocols.
- Travel both domestically and internationally, sometimes with minimal notice.
- 10+ years experience as a Technical Lead in film video production.
- Understanding of the entire filmmaking process, combining creative awareness with technological on-set workflow and production tools.
- Expertise on all aspects of the video production pipeline from prep to post.
- Strong creative problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment with short deadlines.
- You have built relationships with the technical production community that bring an in-depth knowledge.
- Experienced leader with a track record of influencing and motivating others at all levels, a great teammate, and a consensus builder.
- Appetite for curiosity and learning in an ever-advancing production landscape.
- Ability and or knowledge to fabricate and build bespoke camera or production tool hardware.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey vision and liaise with stakeholders
- Resilient under stressful situations, while maintaining a positive attitude and forward-thinking approach despite subpar circumstances or setbacks
- Communicates clearly and concisely, delivering messages and actively listening to ensure understanding, and has the flexibility to adapt communication styles to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
