The Audio Products Firmware team is looking for an energetic engineer to join our team. This is an individual contributor role to develop the CI testing pipelines and tooling required to build Audio products. You will have the opportunity to have a major impact on the development for Apple's consumer audio products. In this role, you will work with a wide cross-functional team to continually improve the efficiency of the firmware and software in Apple products.

- Own the stability and reliability of our CI pipeline, leading the triage and resolution of complex failures in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Architect and advance our CI automation framework and infrastructure, driving long-term scalability and performance improvements
- Partner strategically with the CI and engineering teams to identify gaps, define technical direction, and implement high-impact improvements that boost robustness, efficiency, and quality across the test ecosystem
- Serve as a go-to expert for CI-related issues, providing rapid, high-quality support and elevating best practices across Slack and engineering channels
- Develop high-value automated tests that meaningfully expand coverage and strengthen validation of mission-critical features
- Lead POC design and execution, evaluating new tools, technologies, and workflows that can reshape and modernize our CI architecture
- Leverage AI and automation at scale to accelerate development, debugging, and system optimization
- Drive projects and defect resolutions end-to-end, owning outcomes, raising the technical bar, and delivering high-quality, impactful solutions
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of developing large-scale software applications in Python
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and software fundamentals (data structures, multi-threading, algorithms…etc)
- Critical thinking, problem solving proven record, ability to solve unknown difficult/complex problems
- A strong advocate for collaborative development practices, including code reviews, and a commitment to producing maintainable code
- Solid understanding of testing principles and experience implementing effective unit tests and integration tests
- Familiarity with Git for version control and basic Git operations
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys learning new technologies
- Proficient with CI/CD technologies: Jenkins, GitLab , Kube, Postgre
- Experience with tools, and frameworks for embedded systems (Make, gcc, clang, google test, static analysis, gcov, pytest etc.)
- Experience with deploying Kubernetes clusters in real-world applications
- Experience with Splunk, Tableau, or other modern visualization tools
- Able to plan, coordinate, and lead cross-functional projects and bring them to completion.
- Able to architect performant, scalable, and fault tolerant systems
- Skilled at creative problem solving, critical thinking, prioritization, and communication
- Passion for quality and attention to detail
