As a Software Engineer on our Enterprise & Education team, you will help us deliver the world-class experiences our customers expect. You will join a dynamic team that supports core operating system and device management technologies. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to investigate emerging technologies, develop next-generation products, and solve complex problems that impact millions of users. You'll partner with a wide range of teams to build features for iOS, macOS, and more, contributing directly to the distinct, holistic experiences that define Apple. - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software for Apple's operating systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to build features for enterprise and education customers.
- Investigate and prototype solutions with emerging and next-generation technologies.
- Solve complex technical challenges in multi-threaded and systems-level software.
- Communicate technical designs and project status effectively to partners across the organization.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster their technical and professional growth.
- Advocate for and deliver high-quality, performant, and reliable code.
- Advanced programming skills in one or more of the following: C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift.
- Demonstrated ability to write performant and correct multi-threaded code.
- Proven aptitude for learning new technologies and cutting through ambiguity to deliver results.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly within the team and across departments.
