We are seeking an exceptional and highly-motivated Software Engineer to build tools that process and manage data from a wide range of computer vision systems. The data is collected from studies powering products developed from machine learning and AIML.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development of tools across the entire stack of our data processing solutions for training computer vision systems. Your responsibilities will encompass both customer-facing front-end platforms and automated backend processing components. You will conduct in-depth analysis and research on deep learning infrastructure and distributed systems design and principles. Additionally, you will monitor the performance of existing systems and cloud computing platforms. You will provide the data foundation for a highly collaborative team of hardware, user experience, and deep learning experts.
- Transform requirements and implement them into platform-level software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to construct automated data processing systems feeding into algorithm development
- Design and implement front-end solutions utilized for data collection purposes
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data processing pipelines and data collection front ends
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Experience in writing API interfaces in GraphQL or REST
- Experience in implementing Django full-stack solutions
- Proficiency in front-end application development using frameworks such as React, Vue, Bootstrap, and Angular
- Experience in utilizing database technologies such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL
- Knowledge or experience in machine learning development
- Experience implementing solutions with the AWS ecosystem
- Proficiency in using source control systems such as GitHub
- Experience in monitoring and error tracking tools such as Sentry, Grafana, or Splunk
- Experience in deployment tools and platforms such as Kubernetes, Argo, or Docker
- Passion for disciplined coding practices and standards: a strong commitment to adhering to coding standards and documentation guidelines
- Effective communication skills: the ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical concepts clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
- Collaborative teamwork: proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams on common projects
- Customer and user experience focus: a dedication to delivering exceptional customer and user experiences
- UI/UX excellence: ability to design and implement clean, functional, and effective user interfaces
- Data collection and annotation experience: familiarity with data collection and annotation platforms
- AI coding assistant proficiency: experience leveraging AI coding assistants to enhance development productivity
- Javascript proficiency: proficiency in the JavaScript programming language
- AI/ML Framework Experience: experience with AI/ML frameworks, models, and tools such as Claude, Roo Code, Ollama, PyTorch, Tensorflow, OpenCV, and FFmpeg
