Join the AppleCare Finance team and be part of a group that collaborates closely with business partners to help drive strategic decisions and positively influence financial performance. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our AppleCare Finance team.
- Lead and support key financial planning processes for AppleCare, including short-term and long-range forecasts, and quarter close activities
- Build and maintain advanced financial models to support comprehensive tracking and analysis of AppleCare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement
- Consolidate and analyze financial results across AppleCare functions. Identify key business drivers, trends, risks, and actionable opportunities
- Perform variance analysis on actuals versus forecast and deliver clear, concise explanations to Finance and business leadership
- Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance counterparts, Operations, Business Development, Supply Chain, Product and GBS teams to align on financial strategy
- Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes, with a focus on automation, scalability, and accuracy
- Internship experience in corporate finance/ FP&A
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel
- Experience with Tableau, Dataiku, and financial systems such as SAP are a plus
- Experience consolidating data and providing clear, actionable insights for senior management
- Good understanding of accounting principles and experience with quarter close activities
- Effective communicator with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables
- Curious, proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, business-partnering approach
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to evolving business needs
