The Apple Ads Data Insights team is seeking a Data Scientist to develop and deliver analytical solutions in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Engineering. Analytics is a team sport, and in this role you will be a key contributor to a data-centric team whose work directly informs business decisions and outcomes. What makes this role exciting is the business complexity, scale, and high standards for information architecture, performance optimization, and actionable insights. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working through ambiguous problems, understanding how metrics move, and translating analysis into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Work closely with members of a data-centric team to execute analyses and contribute to the exploration, development, execution, and measurement of analytical solutions critical to running the business
  • Monitor business metrics and identify key drivers behind large-scale trends and changes in business health
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable insights with an emphasis on accuracy and impact
  • Design and improve dashboards and reporting solutions with a strong focus on usability and clarity
  • Apply statistical analysis and data science techniques to understand business performance, diagnose metric movement, and inform decision-making
  • Lead business analytics projects end to end, including defining investigations, exploring data, conducting analysis, interpreting results, and presenting findings to stakeholders
  • 2–4 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related analytical role
  • Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to conduct deep dives using statistical methods and data science techniques
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to executive and technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Product, Sales, and Marketing to design experiments and analyses that inform business decisions
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization, with a strong eye for design and clarity
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using libraries such as Pandas, SciPy, and scikit-learn
  • Comfortable querying and analyzing large datasets using tools such as SQL, Snowflake, or similar analytical data platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Analytics or Data Science
  • Experience in ad tech, digital advertising, or mobile advertising, which can accelerate ramp-up but is not required
  • Familiarity with job orchestration frameworks such as Airflow
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
