Apple’s Worldwide Market Research and Analytics team, part of Worldwide Product Marketing, is looking for an expert to lead the implementation of market research surveys using online platforms like Qualtrics / Decipher/ Survey Monkey, to support its customer insights needs. This position is responsible for handling multi-country tracking studies, from questionnaire review, survey programming, testing, and fielding.
We’re looking for a practitioner who has extraordinary attention to detail, is an expert in survey programming, along with managing QA, localizations and testing. You're passionate about data management and analysis, and you excel at using innovative automation tools to optimize workflows. Most importantly, you're a collaborative learner who values both teaching and learning from others.
  • Program surveys using an industry-standard survey software package
  • Manage survey logistics, including survey translations, testing, and invitations. This will require liaising with internal and external partners
  • Sufficiently proficient in data management and data analysis (incl. Python and Jupyter Notebook) to take on operational analytics tasks
  • Experienced in complex questionnaire design to review questions and provide input
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system development and improvements
  • Find opportunities to improve survey operations systems and provide process improvement recommendations (using AI tools/automation)
  • 5+ years working in a market research team using online survey software packages such as Survey Monkey or Qualtrics
  • High degree of attention to detail when evaluating questionnaires, programming/testing surveys and working with localizations
  • Experience leading multi-lingual surveys and email campaigns
  • Ability to build strong relationships with partner groups to ensure project success
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • Capability to quickly assess and provide optimal solutions for survey operations issues that may be customer-facing and/or impact data collection
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, Python and Jupyter Notebook as well as Excel and Keynote
  • Experience generating customer lists for surveys is a plus
  • Knowledge of statistics, statistical software packages such as SPSS, Python Pandas is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage many projects in a fast-paced environment, often under tight timeframes
  • Experience implementing or partnering on in-app / in-product surveys
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $117,400 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
