Our target is to deliver superior camera hardware to enable best-in-class camera user experience. As a key member of the Camera Semiconductor Technologies team, you will be responsible for the modeling, design, optimization, and validation of pixels, in-pixel circuits, and development of new sensors.
You will be at the center of efforts to develop new depth sensing technology, and you will engage with cross-functional teams working on many aspects of system, module, circuit, and device development.
- As a Depth Sensor Development Engineer, your core responsibilities will be:
- Validate and characterize sensors for specific applications.
- Development and validation of sensor specifications to engage with internal and external partners.
- Collaborating with global image sensor suppliers to develop new image sensors for different applications.
- Documenting and presenting your results to both internal and external engineering teams.
- Working with internal and external teams to assure that sufficient and correct testing is implemented at all stages to guarantee performance.
- Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, EECS, physics or relevant industry experience.
- Experience in building test setup, running characterization, and analyzing results with software such as MATLAB or Python.
- Experience working on active ranging systems such as LIDAR, Time-of-Flight, FMCW, or similar.
- MSc/PhD in electrical engineering, EECS, physics or relevant industry experience
- Experience in image sensor pixel and sensor development, sensor characterization, sensor bring-up and debug, or wafer-level testing
- Familiar with image sensor technology, image sensor performance metrics, image sensor usage, and integration into camera systems
- Basic knowledge of photodiodes, pixel front-end circuit and analog circuits
- Experience with avalanche photodiode (APD or SPAD) image sensors
- Experience in electro-optical mass-production screening test or characterization of imaging solutions and/or sensor functional validation (analog and logic-oriented)
- Experience of building a optical system / imaging system
