APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Deliver data, dashboards, and performance analytics to facilitate business decisions. Serve the needs of the Maps organization to analyze various data sets. Analyze data for pilot programs and prototypes to support Operations in data-informed decisions. Illustrate critical metrics to help guide operations in effective business management. Identify trends, highlight areas of opportunity for operational performance enhancements and create presentations to convey analysis and influence strategic decisions. Work with large data sets, parsing them as required for analysis, documenting the processes and reasoning for each dataset. Conduct analysis that includes requirements and data gathering. Design meaningful metrics to measure success of Maps business processes and devise ways to measure them from various data signals. Perform predictive analysis to forecast volume and project outcomes. 40 hours/week.
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics or a related field.
- Experience and/or education must include:
- Performing data analysis over various historical time series to identify volume, cost, quality, and impact trends.
- Utilizing Tableau to build new reporting or refine existing dashboard suite.
- Creating user requirements documentation as a basis for Tableau dashboard build and refinement.
- Utilizing Excel spreadsheet modeling to drive financial analysis, optimization and forecasting.
- Utilizing SQL, HiveQL, or Spark to access data stored in Hadoop, Hive, Snowflake or relational databases.
- Utilizing Python to execute advanced data manipulation, logic-based calculations and analysis.
- Utilizing SQL to query data and Python to apply business logic.
- Developing models using regression, clustering and decision trees methods to analyze and provide insights.
