Apple is looking for a Product Launch Manager to join the Product Launch and Marketing Operations within Worldwide Marketing to help deliver successful product launches and manage ongoing projects. The Product Launch and Marketing Operations team owns the end-to-end launch process. We provide consistency across launches and guide the process from kickoff to availability and beyond. Apple is seeking an individual with a passion for marketing, project management, written communications, and cross-functional collaboration to work on product launches within the world-class Worldwide Marketing group. While overseeing launch timelines and processes, creative and copy review rounds, and the development of new training materials, you will work with Product Managers, Marcom, PR, Ops Readiness, Retail, Channel, and other cross-functional groups on launches.
- End-to-end responsibility for product launches, including managing launch timelines and processes, driving review rounds, tracking deliverables, and ensuring teams meet project deadlines.
- Partner with Marcom, Retail, Channel, PR and others to drive collaboration and influence decisions for launch and ongoing projects.
- Drive the creation and delivery of marketing deliverables, product presentations, and training materials through project management, editorial input, and collaboration with Product Managers, editors, and designers.
- Work with Sales Training and Product Marketing teams to develop new and engaging learning experiences that equip sales teams with product feature knowledge and selling confidence.
- Partner with Education and Business Marketing teams on current and new projects.
- Organize regional product marketing and PR product briefings.
- Prioritize the team’s success and actively contribute to a collaborative, supportive working environment.
- Collaborate with Worldwide Product Marketing (WWPM), Greater China Product Marketing (GCPM) and fellow Product Launch Managers (PLMs) to adapt core product messaging into compelling scripts and talking points designed for the live-streaming format used in the Apple Online Store on Douyin.
- Review live-streaming scripts and product demos with WWPM, PLMs, GCPM, and GC Apple Online Store teams to ensure all content is consistent with global brand guidelines and product marketing objectives while being highly relevant to the local live-streaming audience.
- Create processes to ensure smooth execution for live-stream projects now and in the future.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing, project management, or marketing communications.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities frequently shift and adaptability is essential.
- Experienced in running multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong attention to detail and consistency across all deliverables.
- Excellent skills in editing and written communications; experience working with stakeholders and designers on crafting presentations and communications collateral.
- Proactive, self-motivated, highly responsive and communicative, and ready to take strong ownership of your work.
- Curious about products with a desire to learn more.
- Experience working on confidential projects.
- Ability to speak and read Mandarin is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with China’s social and live commerce platforms such as Douyin, WeChat, and rednote, and an understanding of how these platforms support product launches and campaigns.
- Experience directly managing or heavily collaborating on live-streaming production or social video content creation is a strong plus.
