As a Systems Integration, Build, and Test Engineer, you will partner with a multidisciplinary team to develop, maintain, and scale our test systems. You will play a crucial role in bringing new technologies to life through rapid prototyping and rigorous validation.
  • Assembling new test cells and test benches from the ground up.
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, servicing, and supporting upgrades to existing system test benches and prototypes.
  • Coordinating closely with Electrical Engineering (EE) design teams on wire harness fabrication and integration.
  • Partnering with Product Design (PD) engineers on the fabrication and assembly of custom test fixtures.
  • Benchmarking off-the-shelf (OTS) hardware using lab test benches alongside our software, EE, and PD teams.
  • Leading instrumentation and metrology efforts to support accurate test data collection and acquisition.
  • Taking ownership of shared lab spaces, ensuring they are managed and maintained in a safe, well-organized manner.
  • Coordinating the booking, reservation, and scheduling of shared lab assets to optimize team efficiency.
  • Experience working with complex electromechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and sustain test bucks, system rigs, and test cells.
  • Hands-on experience with data acquisition (DAQ) across multiple communication protocols (e.g., serial, CAN, SPI, EtherCAT).
  • Excellent cross-functional coordination skills, with a track record of partnering effectively with other test engineers, technicians, and design teams.
  • Proficiency in wire harness fabrication, repair, and modification.
  • Proven experience with motor dyno test systems and associated metrology equipment.
  • Strong background in end-of-line (EOL) or bring-up testing and validation.
  • Experience managing shared lab spaces, including safety compliance and lab asset scheduling.
