Responsible for performance benchmarking, characterization of new connectivity features and improving Wi-Fi system performance on Apple platforms. Measure & analyze both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth system performance for various coexistence driven scenarios. Ability to build lab setups that simulate different system conditions. Ability to work on scripts and tools that aid in analysis.
- You have domain expertise with the TCP/IP suite of protocols
- You have deep knowledge of 802.11 MAC/PHY protocol with 8+ years relevant industry experience
- You have strong experience with Python scripting
- You're experienced with iPerf, Ixia, & Wireshark
- Exposure to interaction with AI/ML tools to streamline data analysis and triaging of issues
- Debug and analysis of issues by examining different layers of the protocol stack
- Understand impact of interference on Wi-Fi and BT performance
- Software engineering experience with C, Objective-C, C++ is highly preferred
- You thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams
- You are obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
- You have the ability to improve system performance to provide good end user experience
