Apple’s app ecosystem has helped creators, dreamers, and learners of all ages and backgrounds build a brighter future and a better world with their innovative apps. For families, our mission carries a particular importance — to ensure that children and teens have access to experiences that are thoughtful, age-appropriate, and reflective of Apple's values. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Product Manager who is passionate about family-centered design and the app ecosystem to join the Marketplace Technologies team. This role leads the strategic product vision for children and teens across Apple's app marketplace platforms, including the App Store, driving Apple's continued investment in the tools, policies, and experiences that serve families well.
As the Senior Product Manager for App Marketplaces Child Safety, you will help define and drive Apple's product strategy for children and teens across its app ecosystem, with a focus on the App Store's role as the world's most trusted platform for app discovery. You will translate a deep understanding of child development, digital wellbeing, and family needs into concrete product experiences — shaping how millions of kids discover apps, how families browse and manage purchases across Apple's global marketplace, and how emerging technologies are thoughtfully developed for younger audiences. You will work across a broad set of internal partners — including Product Marketing, Health, Engineering, Legal, and App Review — to align child safety considerations with Apple's platform policies and product decisions. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of product, policy, and platform trust.

- Define product requirements from conception through launch; monitor adoption and outcomes to drive continuous improvement
- Balance and synthesize input from a wide range of internal stakeholders with varying priorities and timelines
- Serve as an internal advocate for children and families across Apple's broader app ecosystem
- 10+ years of product management experience delivering complex, large-scale products with meaningful user impact
- Demonstrated experience working on family products, digital wellbeing, or age-appropriate design for young children and adolescents, grounded in an understanding of childhood developmental stages and their implications for product decisions
- Proven ability to lead highly cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, from strategy through launch, in a fast-moving environment
- Strong policy intuition; comfortable working at the intersection of product, legal, and regulatory considerations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; skilled at building consensus and fostering trust across teams with competing priorities
- Strong analytical capabilities to identify opportunities, define success metrics, and measure impact
- BA/BS or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus
- Experience developing products or policies at a two-sided marketplace, app platform, or digital content ecosystem
- Familiarity with applicable regulations and industry standards related to minors' online experiences
- Ability to fluidly operate across highly technical product details and high-level strategic narratives, and translate between both for diverse audiences
- Experience working with legal, trust & safety, or policy teams on platform integrity or content-related products
- Strong storytelling and executive presentation skills, including the ability to frame complex issues clearly for senior leadership
- Fluency with Keynote; experience presenting to executive audiences
- Press and media experience with success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level
- Genuine passion for building trusted digital experiences for children and families
