Job Summary

At Audible, we believe stories have the power to transform lives. It's why we work with some of the world's leading creators to produce and share audio storytelling with our millions of global listeners. We are dreamers and inventors who come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to empower and inspire each other. Imagine your future with us.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and build key technologies that support Audible's catalog ingestion and publishing functions, driving automation and optimal operational efficiencies and exceptional experiences for our customers, creators, and internal teams. This role focuses on developing scalable, automated content ingestion pipelines and publishing systems that power Audible's catalog across 1P, 2P, and 3P audiobooks and podcasts. When manual intervention is required, our products empower content operations teams to efficiently manage ingestion workflows, resolve processing exceptions, and ensure content reaches customers quickly through human-centered tooling. You'll join a global team whose innovations and strategies shape how content flows from creators and partners into Audible's catalog and is published across Audible's storefront and external endpoints. You'll partner closely with engineering teams, applied data scientists, product managers, content operations, and UX designers to create, execute, and iterate on systems that address the needs of content providers, internal operators, and downstream consumers of Audible's catalog. The Senior Product Manager is an individual contributor role.

ABOUT YOU
You communicate complex ideas in a simple, concise, and clear manner, with an ability to lead even in the face of ambiguity, including the authoring of detailed technical requirements. You have a proven history of managing a product roadmap, managing prioritization and trade-offs of short-term value and long-term strategic goals. You have a track record of driving decisions with data and analytics with applied judgment when data is ambiguous or absent. You have an ability to understand software systems and make meaningful contributions to software architecture decisions. You have deep knowledge of content ingestion, metadata processing, validation, and multi-channel publishing workflows. You are detail-oriented, ambitious, and a self-starter. Your high-impact role requires not only strategic vision and inventing for customers, but also strong execution, technical depth, analytical rigor, and excellent communication.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will...
- Work closely with content operations, engineers and UX to build systems that scale Audible's content ingestion and publishing platform as we expand into new content types, partnerships, and markets
- Translate the product strategy and strategic initiatives into well-developed plans and objectives over different time frames, with defined and measured value being realized iteratively
- Deliver value by creating reusable, extensible, and resilient capabilities, and proactively identify opportunities based on key metrics such as engineering efficiency, security, resilience, and performance
- Partner with tech teams to promote the capabilities of the content ingestion and publishing systems your team releases across Audible's tech, product, and operations teams to ensure new services and capabilities are adopted and internal stakeholder needs are understood and met
- Proactively accelerate, unblock, de-risk, and help optimize the work of delivery teams working on your in-flight features · Use data to drive product decisions, set target metrics for success, and measure results against them · Influence technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions
