Position Overview
We're hiring someone to lead the evolution of our Salesforce CPQ platform and lead a team. You bring deep, hands-on Salesforce CPQ implementation and customization experience, plus a practical approach to applying AI to boost seller productivity. You will lead engineers and BSAs, guide architecture and integrations with adjacent systems, and partner with partners to ensure CPQ capabilities align with our GTM strategy and sales enablement goals.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be

- Lead a team of Salesforce CPQ engineers and Business Systems Analysts, promoting innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Manage the design, customization, and maintenance of our Salesforce CPQ platform to improve product catalog configuration, quoting, pricing, and order processes.
- Guide the integration of AI technologies to ensure intelligent price guidance, automated approvals, and predictive analytics within CPQ workflows.
- Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce CPQ with other enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, billing, and contract management platforms to support end-to-end sales operations.
- Design, manage usage-based and usage-based pricing models within Salesforce CPQ to support flexible, subscription-driven, and usage-driven monetization strategies.
- Oversee the work of BSAs for comprehensive requirements gathering, documentation, and translation between technical and business teams.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, operations, and product teams to understand our needs and create CPQ solutions that simplify complex sales cycles and improve user adoption.
- Engage with partners to align CPQ programs with our GTM strategy and support the sales organization's success.
- Establish best practices, governance, and standards for Salesforce CPQ development and AI integration.
- Monitor system performance, security, and compliance to ensure reliable and secure CPQ operations.
- Stay current with Salesforce CPQ and AI advancements to evolve platform capabilities. Use internal AI solutions to improve productivity and accelerate outcomes.
- Manage project priorities and deliverables ensuring agreement on strategic goals.
What You'll Need to be Successful
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ configuration, development, and architecture.
- Experience leading engineering teams and Business Systems Analysts in a, Agile environment.
- Expertise in Salesforce CPQ features including product configuration, pricing rules, workflows, approvals, and contract management.
- Demonstrated experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with ERP, CRM, billing, or other enterprise systems with APIs and middleware tools.
- Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities integrated into CPQ processes (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, predictive pricing models, AI-driven automation).
- Proficient in Salesforce development tools: Apex, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs.
- And ability to engage and manage partners.
- With a understanding of sales operations and GTM strategies.
