Job Summary:
This position will be on an operations team within the AMRS Exchange Traded Derivatives organization that supports US Listed Option product for Merrill Lynch Professional client base. The team is responsible for all operational components of the option trade life cycle, from the moment after execution through settlement.

Responsibilities:

Some of the job functions include trade date and trade date + 1 position and trade break reporting / reconciliations, trade allocations, exercise instruction, corporate action processing, exercise and assignment balancing, option position transfers and cash reconciliations of trades. This candidate will primarily work with operations teams in Charlotte, NC and Jacksonville, FL, but will have opportunity to liaise with brokers, clients, exchanges, CCPs, compliance, front office and LOB personnel.

Requirements Qualifications:

  • 1 yrs of experience in financial operations is preferred.

  • The ideal fit for this role is a candidate who possesses a high level of intellectual curiosity and desire to take on process ownership, the ability to network within neighboring teams to develop process understanding.
  • Additional desired skills are ability to multi-task and operate under high pressure situations.
  • Strong PC and Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
