What’s the Role?
At Bloomberg Finance we are committed to providing world-class support to our business partners by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership.
The SAP BW Developer is responsible for the successful backend design of BW data extraction, transformation, loads and frontend reporting using SAC and AO.
We'll trust you to:
- Creating interactive stories based on best practices for Charts, tables, geo-maps.
- Build and maintain Live and Acquire Data Models for Analytics and Planning.
- Creating time series analysis, predictive capabilities and what-if simulations.
- Creating Data actions, allocations and forecasting scenario.
- Writing custom logic and event-driven scripts using JavaScript for widgets.
- Enhance performance of HANA calculation views, SQL script and understanding of table function
- Creating BEx queries with calculated/restricted key figures and exceptions.
- ETL master and transactional data from various sources to BW/Datasphere.
- Writing both functional and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts and business users.
You’ll need to have:
- Minimum 1 year of Datasphere experience.
- Minimum 3 years of SAP SAC experience.
- Minimum 5 years of SAP BW experience
- Ability to map business requirements to BW/Datasphere/SAC Model.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technology field
We'd love to see:
- Experience with BTP, BOBJ, APOS, Alteryx and Databricks.
- Familiarity with cloud data architecture and concepts like data fabric and data mesh.
- Domain Knowledge in Finance, Supply Chain and HR.
- Adherence to IT/SAP project methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA.
