At Bloomberg Finance we are committed to providing extraordinary support to our business partners by providing data driven insights on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership.
The Financial Management Systems & Solutions team partners with stakeholders across Finance & Administration to support the strategic development and continual improvement of the applications, products and technologies that are the foundation of our most critical workflows.
A large proportion of the team are solution architects, and they play an essential role between the core finance teams and the engineering teams, including assessing and documenting design requirements and driving the ultimate implementation of new or adapted solutions. This is incremental to the foundational responsibilities of maintaining a high performing, stable and secure operating environment for financial solutions daily. The team also provides essential portfolio and program management for the key initiatives that align to our most important business goals and to prioritize a multi-year roadmap for Finance Management systems.
The team partners closely with the Corporate FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Transformation team which delivers various FP&A process re-engineering solutions to ensure better management reporting, financial analysis, & decision support to the senior decision makers at the firm.
The Oracle Subject Matter Expert will report to the Oracle Team Lead and be responsible for designing and building the Oracle planning and reporting solution within the broader Finance organization.
We’ll Trust You To:
  • Play a critical leading the design and build within a cross-functional team of technical and financial professionals through the implementation and adoption of financial planning processes
  • Design, build and maintain financial planning models within Oracle Cloud EPM
  • Possess a keen interest in process improvement and collaborate with business partners to align new processes with technology solutions
  • Committed to learn and identify new Oracle offerings and supportive tools
  • Support standardized reporting process in Oracle, particularly those reports targeting business-facing FP&A leads and CFOs
You’ll Need to Have:
  • 7+ years experience in Finance-focused global planning and reporting system implementations
  • Extensive experience in Corporate Finance and Financial Planning Processes
  • Expertise with Oracle Planning Software & Specifically the following:
  • Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS)
  • Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
  • Enterprise Profitability & Cost Management (EPCM)
  • Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Automate
  • Expertise in design and development of out-of-box Workforce and Finance models as well as custom models in EPBCS specially in the areas of Operating Expense, Revenue and Capital Expense
  • Extensive experience with design and development of metadata integration and maintenance
  • Experience with the design and development of Corporate and Business Unit Allocations
  • Experience working with security and authorizations within Oracle Cloud based solutions
  • Roadmapping experience and constructing business cases in a global/matrixed organization
  • Experience as a cross functional senior team member for Finance workstreams in Oracle-based Transformation projects (including FP&A processes)
