Our Data team supports the Bloomberg Industry Group (INDG) business, which offers outstanding tools, search, and analytics for products in the areas of Law, Government and Tax. Bloomberg is changing the legal industry by delivering the most sophisticated research platform on the market with a focus on automation, analytics and real-time answers. INDG provides users with fast access to legal content and analysis, practice tools, company information and market intelligence through advanced search & analytic capabilities.
As a Licensing Contract Legal Analyst, you will be responsible for Content Licensing, including drafting and negotiating contracts, vendor management and budgeting issues. You will collaborate closely with Product, Content Analysis and Legal.

We’ll trust you to:
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including senior management, to understand requirements and approach
- Communicate clearly with a variety of internal stakeholders and translate complex problems effectively
- Draft, review and negotiate data licensing agreements, including AI rights
- Facilitate and manage vendor relationships
- Opine on copyright and permission issues
- Manage contract lifecycle and budgeting issues
- Maintain detailed records
You’ll need to have:
- Extreme organizational skills, attention to detail and deadline focused
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Have passed a state Bar examination and been admitted
- 2+ years of relevant practice and work experience
- Familiarity with online legal research tools
- Familiarity with legal data and data management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with particular focus on sophisticated and complex concepts
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, vendors and other stakeholders
- Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality work product on demanding deadlines
- Self-starter and the ability to work with a high-degree of autonomy
- Legal authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship now and in the future
