What’s the Role?
  • As an Enterprise Technology Service Representative / Technical Relationship Manager, you'll be a key point of contact for our South American client base. You’ll work alongside our global team to support and grow our business by delivering technical application support and integration expertise.
  • Based in-region, you’ll also partner with Pre-Sales to engage prospective clients and demonstrate Bloomberg’s value. Your focus will be on supporting a broad range of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows between Bloomberg and client systems — spanning protocols such as SWIFT, FIX, XML, SFTP, MQ, and Web APIs.
  • Your role is two-fold: to ensure stable, secure workflows and to build trusted client partnerships. You’ll be the go-to technical advisor for a set of strategic accounts, proactively managing integration health and helping clients get the most from our solutions.
  • You’ll also act as the voice of the client — collaborating with Product Managers, Business Leads, and Engineers to shape our offerings based on real-world feedback and market dynamics.

We’ll Trust You To
  • Deliver outstanding production support to clients across the Americas, with a focus on South America
  • Own and resolve technical issues — proactively following through and communicating clearly
  • Support the full client lifecycle: from pre-sales, implementation through post-deployment care
  • Troubleshoot issues across Bloomberg’s electronic trading and reporting suite, identifying root causes and delivering timely solutions
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design enhancements and prevent recurring issues
  • Act as a technical liaison — aligning expectations, streamlining delivery, and ensuring success across client and internal stakeholders
  • Analyze trends in client issues, implement preventive strategies, and share insights to improve system stability
  • Monitor client flows and trading activity to support capacity planning and performance benchmarking
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring your message accordingly
  • Keep clients aligned with our technology roadmap and proactively manage expectations
You’ll Need to Have
  • Bilingual fluency in Portuguese and English
  • 4+ years in technical support or implementation roles for electronic trading systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with Fixed Income, FX, and/or Equities workflows, including regulations like MiFID and SFTR
  • Hands-on experience with message protocols such as FIX, SFTP, or MQ
  • An understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Ability to document and explain complex technology stacks clearly
  • Calm under pressure, with sharp prioritization skills and a strong sense of urgency
  • Proven track record of solving complex issues and collaborating with senior technical stakeholders
  • Ability to identify commercial opportunities and support Pre-Sales engagement, working closely with Account Management to drive client success

We’d Love to See
  • A degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Exposure to programming or scripting languages (e.g., Pythonl)
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, and SWIFT messaging formats
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience with transactional databases, both structured and unstructured
  • Strong understanding of Equity, Futures, Options, Fixed Income, and FX market workflows
  • Exposure to workflows at broker/dealers, exchanges, hedge funds, or involving regulatory reporting requirements
