What's the Role?
We're looking for a driven, bilingual sales professional to join our Green Markets team and lead business development efforts for our Green Markets Brazil fertilizer intelligence (see more at: green-markets.com/brasil). This role combines consultative sales with client support and data management, making it ideal for a professional with strong intuition for business, a passion for agriculture, and native-level Brazilian Portuguese fluency.
We’ll trust you to:
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities across Brazil's fertilizer market (distributors, traders, producers, and co-ops) to drive revenue and play a central role in growing our Brazilian footprint
- Cultivate lasting relationships with decision-makers and influencers across the Brazilian ag supply chain
- Understand and articulate the strategic benefits of the Green Markets Brazil market pricing, insights, and local analysis
- Use CRM tools to maintain and expand a pipeline, track activities, and report progress effectively
- Provide proactive account servicing and onboarding for Portuguese-speaking clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and renewal potential
- Assist in managing localized market data processing in support of research production to ensure data integrity
You’ll need to have:
- Authorization to work full-time in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese (spoken and written)
- 2+ years of sales, account management, or business development—ideally in agriculture, commodities, market intelligence, SaaS, or a related industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to confidently pitch solutions to executive-level decision-makers
- Detail-orientation with experience in data handling, CRM systems, and moderate Excel proficiency
We’d love to see:
- Familiarity with fertilizer markets, ag supply chains, or commodity pricing
- Experience using the Bloomberg Terminal or working in an information services firm
