At Bloomberg Media we are committed to providing extraordinary support to our business partners by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership.
We’re seeking a Yield Analyst to join Bloomberg’s Global Yield Team. You will work across all of our media assets including Digital, TV, Social, Audio, and Print. You’ll be responsible for enhancing our inventory to ensure we are properly and effectively monetizing our advertising assets through data-driven strategic analyses, while having the ability to effectively translate and adjust to sales and operational needs.
WE’LL TRUST YOU TO:
- Serve as the primary contact for Sales, Planning, and Ad Operations, approving pricing and inventory across multiple channels and buying methodologies, including Digital, Linear, Social, and Programmatic.
- Be fluent in inventory, pricing, and revenue data to identify market trends and translate insights into data-driven pricing and inventory strategies that balance yield optimization with advertiser performance.
- Build and maintain dynamic forecasting models to project revenue, fill rate, and yield outcomes based on changing market conditions, inventory supply, and client demand.
- Design and implement scalable pricing frameworks and performance methodologies that ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data Science) to test and evaluate pricing approaches that support both near-term goals and long-term growth.
- Own and evolve the rate card structure across multiple mediums, proposing updates based on data analysis and marketplace feedback.
- Support new product and packaging initiatives through pricing analysis and market positioning assessments.
YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:
- At least 2 years of experience in digital ad sales, covering formats such as Display/Video, OTT/CTV, Linear TV, Print, Social, or Audio/Podcasting.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Professional experience in advertising, media, or finance, ideally within a global organization.
- Strong mathematical and analytical background, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Power Pivot and Power Query).
- Experience extracting, manipulating, and interpreting large datasets to support business decisions.
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to present insights effectively.
- Proven ability to translate complex data and models into clear, actionable business narratives for non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of data.
