The energy of a newsroom, the pace of a trading floor, the buzz of a tech breakthrough — we work hard, and we work fast, while maintaining the quality and accuracy we’re known for. It’s what keeps us inventing and reinventing every day. Our culture is open and collaborative, and we bring out the best in each other by experimenting, sharing, and learning together.
Technology is transforming how Bloomberg’s External Relations (ER) teams operate — from drafting speeches and analyzing trends to synthesizing complex policy insights. Our goal is to empower every ER professional to use AI effectively and responsibly in their work.
We’re looking for an AI Support Associate — a hands-on, curious, and tech-savvy professional who thrives at the intersection of communications and emerging technology. This role will help ER employees unlock the full potential of tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, and NotebookLM, while building the habits and workflows that make AI a lasting part of how we work.
We’ll Trust You To
• Deliver hands-on AI training and coaching to non-technical External Relations employees across communications, policy, and media teams.
• Develop and lead interactive sessions (workshops, Lunch & Learns, office hours) that build confidence in everyday AI use — from writing and research to workflow automation.
Design and maintain structured resources: prompt libraries, SharePoint-hosted learning hubs, quick-reference guides, and use case playbooks.
• Serve as the primary point of expertise on SharePoint and OneDrive AI Integration.
• Partner with ER’s Director of AI Implementation to identify, test, and refine use cases emerging from the ER AI Roadmap.
• Build leading Custom GPTs, Gemini Gems, and Copilot Agents.
• Stay ahead of new AI capabilities, surfacing opportunities for responsible experimentation and low-code automation that improve efficiency and impact.
You’ll Need To Have
• 5+ years of experience in learning and development with a technology focus.
Strong working knowledge of SharePoint and OneDrive, including document organization, permissions, and integration with Copilot.
Familiarity with prompt engineering and building lightweight GPT agents or workflow bots (e.g., ChatGPT custom GPTs, Copilot Agents, Gemini Gems, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, and NotebookLM.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills — able to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
• A collaborative mindset, adaptability, and enthusiasm for continuous learning in a fast-evolving space.
• A strong learning curve as this field evolves rapidly and being able to educate BLP employees on AI will require you stay at the cutting edge of the field
We’d Love to See
• Experience with low-code or no-code automation tools (e.g., Copilot Studio, Open AI AgentKit, Zapier, n8n).
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, or leading workshops that inspire others to embrace new technology.
• Curiosity about how AI can strengthen storytelling, policy engagement, and data-driven decision-making.
