The Trade Automation & Execution group builds the platforms and services that power modern electronic trading at Bloomberg. We design and operate high-performance, distributed, real-time systems used by financial institutions worldwide to execute trades, automate workflows, and make data-driven decisions.
Our work spans execution management, trading automation, connectivity, and analytics—supporting millions of transactions daily and integrating with thousands of market destinations. What We’re Looking For
We have several positions across multiple teams and we’re seeking both experienced backend and full stack engineers, with strong C++ skills. Additional TypeScript experience is appreciated for our full stack positions. You’ll have the opportunity to drive design discussions, and collaborate closely with engineering and product partners to deliver exceptional results. You’ll Need To Have
- Demonstrated experience building enterprise applications in C++ or Java
- Experience designing and maintaining large scale distributed systems
- A sharp eye for quality
- A proven track record of leading projects from design through implementation, testing, and release
