As a critical part of our broader talent acquisition strategy, you will collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR professionals to build robust talent pipelines, leveraging cutting-edge sourcing techniques, data, and market insights.

Bloomberg’s Product organization is responsible for shaping and delivering the next generation of market-leading technology and data products used by financial professionals worldwide. This team blends deep financial markets expertise with world-class engineering and design to build solutions spanning trading, analytics, risk, portfolio, and data workflows across asset classes. Product teams partner closely with engineering, data, design, and commercial stakeholders to define strategy, prioritize features, and bring intuitive, scalable solutions to market that support Bloomberg’s mission to connect, inform, and empower clients across the global financial ecosystem.
We’ll Trust You To:
- Identify and engage passive and active candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, networking events, and other creative sourcing and headhunting methodologies.
- Build and maintain proactive pools of diverse talent for critical, niche, and high-volume roles.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, broader business objectives, ideal skill profiles, and long-term workforce planning needs.
- Provide data insights, market intelligence, talent mapping, and competitive analysis to inform hiring strategies.
- Ensure high-touch, focused candidate engagement and a premium candidate experience.
- Nurture relationships with prospective candidates to keep them engaged and informed about current and future opportunities.
- Track and maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or CRM.
- Recommend and implement innovative sourcing strategies and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sourcing and recruitment.
You’ll Need to Have:
- A minimum of 3–4 years of experience working in a sourcing or recruitment role (agency experience preferred).
- Proven experience supporting hiring within financial markets technology or FinTech, with exposure to roles aligned with multi-asset data and analytics platforms (e.g., real-time, historical, fundamental, reference, or pricing data).
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for investment research or front-office roles, including exposure to macro, credit, and/or equity research, analytics, or sales-driven environments.
- Familiarity with recruiting for enterprise financial systems and workflows, such as ERM, OMS, EMS, PMS, or RegTech solutions, and an understanding of how these products support buy-side or sell-side clients.
- Exposure to financial infrastructure hiring is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency with ATS/CRM platforms and sourcing tools, ideally including Avature, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Boolean/X-ray search techniques.
- Strong talent research and candidate engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex product or technical requirements into compelling outreach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to partner closely with recruiters and adapt to evolving hiring priorities.
- A highly organized and analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple searches across regions in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen interest in financial markets, financial technology, and how they are reshaping the future of finance.
