About the role
We are seeking a Product Owner with deep experience in Automation, Agentic AI, RPA, and enterprise-scale workflow transformation. This role will lead the product vision, strategy, and delivery of CBRE’s next-generation automation capabilities—including AI agents, intelligent workflows, robotics, and integrated HR solutions. You will own the roadmap, define business and technical requirements, partner closely with engineering and HR leaders, and drive adoption and value realization across global teams. This role is central to our People Transformation Initiatives and the broader CBRE People Technology strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the functional product vision, strategy, and prioritization for Automation & AI.
- Own business requirements, scoping, PRDs, and user stories, providing clear functional guidance to D&T for build and delivery.
- Define functional specifications including agent behaviors, guardrails, workflows, and human-in-the-loop steps.
- Manage the product backlog, evaluate pilots, and oversee functional testing and success measures.
- Partner with HR, PSCs, D&T, and business stakeholders to shape use cases, ensure compliance, and drive adoption and change enablement

- 3+ years in Product Ownership, Product Management, Automation, AI, or Intelligent Workflow Delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership of automation or AI products (Agentic AI, RPA, orchestration, or LLM powered tools).
- Strong understanding of LLM concepts (prompt engineering, RAG/grounding, evaluation methods, agent frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with automation or AI tools such as:
- Copilot Studio, Gemini, Palantir, ServiceNow HRSD, UiPath, MS Power Platform etc
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Strong business analysis, process design, and requirements writing skills.
- HR domain knowledge preferred but not required

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Product Owner - Automation & AI position is $185,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Product Owner - Automation & AI is $220,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
