About the Role
As a CBRE Business Intelligence Director, you will oversee the department responsible for conducting research, data mining, reporting, and interpretation of company performance metrics.
This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function, responsible for reviewing data that supports improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead, mentor, and develop the analytics team, including supervision, coaching, and recruitment.
• Manage daily team operations, task planning, workflow coordination, and deadline oversight.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape policies, define performance metrics, and support major initiatives.
• Oversee large, cross-functional projects and collaborate with technology teams.
• Direct the full analytics and model development lifecycle from problem definition to implementation.
• Monitor performance reporting, KPIs, ROI, and business trends to drive insights.
• Present analytical findings and business impact summaries to executive leadership.
• Improve processes, solve complex operational challenges, and influence cross functional decision making.
• Lead all digital transformation initiatives and manage the global analytics portfolio.
• Build advanced dashboards, automated tools, and scenario planning models to support strategic decisions.
• Own Tableau and Vantage Analytics strategy and implementation across regions and service lines.
• Collaborate with the CBRE D&T team on new technologies and innovation adoption.
• Mentor and cross-train both internal teams and clients to meet advanced analytical needs.
What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8–12 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complex, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and resolve problems.
• Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
