Technical Supervisor
A Technical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, and performance of all technical (hard services) installations within the facility. This includes HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, building automation, and other critical assets. The role ensures that all technical activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The Technical Supervisor coordinates a team of technicians and external contractors, monitors service quality, and ensures preventive and corrective maintenance is executed on time. They act as the technical point of contact for the client, supporting operational continuity, troubleshooting complex issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement or cost efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Management: Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and other critical installations.
  • Vendor Management: Managing external maintenance contractors, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and monitoring compliance with contractual agreements (SLAs).
  • QHSE & Safety: Ensuring a safe working environment and making sure all technical activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Project Support: Assisting with technical projects, such as replacement investments or building modifications.
  • Administration & Reporting: Managing work orders in the system and reporting on the status of technical installations and related budgets.

Job Requirements

  • Education: A completed technical education (MBO 4 / HBO), preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications such as NEN 3140, NEN 1010, NEN 3840, NEN 5110 and or VCA-VOL are an advantage.
  • Experience: At least 3–4 years of relevant work experience in a technical or facility coordination role.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to switch quickly between different stakeholders.
  • Languages: Both Dutch and English.
