About the Role:
As a Loan Servicing Escrow Analyst, you will perform various tasks within the escrow operations team to ensure timely payment of real estate property taxes and insurance. The position will also monitor escrow compliance on the overall portfolio of CRE loans serviced by CBRE.
What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct analysis of escrow accounts in compliance with Lender requirements.
  • Ensure timely payment of tax payments to various third-party vendors and taxing authorities for escrowed loans.
  • Provide research and support to loan servicing team regarding tax related queries.
  • Review Loan Closing Documents and setup to ensure escrow compliance with lender requirements.
  • Work with various taxing authorities across the US to review and correct any tax related issues.
  • Utilize CBRE systems to review escrow data and run reports.
  • Assist in gathering documentation for audits and certifications
  • Uphold CBRE RISE values and demonstrate excellence in work quality.
  • Adhere to standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Facilitate effective information exchange and mutual understanding within the team
  • Pay close attention to details and timelines

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with a minimum of 3 years related experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
  • Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
