You’ll design experiments, develop working prototypes, and help translate emerging AI techniques into scalable solutions, all while growing your skills, earning competitive pay, and doing work you’re proud of.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and prototype systems that integrate perception, reasoning, and decision-making for diverse real-world applications.

  • Develop and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of multimodal models across visual, linguistic, and behavioral tasks.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform and refine model design and system performance.

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into scalable platforms.

  • Stay ahead of the latest AI research and adapt new findings into meaningful, business-ready prototypes.

  • Solve problems related to tools, data, and workflows to increase velocity and reliability.

  • Partner across data science, ML engineering, and product to align AI development with customer and business needs.

What You’ll Need

  • Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Anticipated graduation is in the spring term of 2027 or 2028.

  • Hands-on experience building AI-powered systems with exposure to at least two of the following:

  • Computer vision (image, video, multimodal model integration)

  • Natural language processing (LLMs, instruction-following)

  • Reinforcement learning or decision-making systems

  • Simulation or testing environments for AI models

  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).

  • Ability to go from concept to prototype, including system integration and validation.

  • Strong understanding of experimental build, data analysis, and performance evaluation.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas across teams.

  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization.

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the full duration of the co-op: June 8, 2026 – December 11, 2026.

Bonus

  • Prior internship or co-op experience.

  • Familiarity with MLOps, data pipelines, and scalable AI infrastructure.

  • Contributions to open-source projects, research publications, or hackathons showcasing a builder mentality.
