Job Description:

Why Join Us

Chewy Vet Care is building a connected ecosystem that supports pets, pet parents, and veterinary teams. This role offers the chance to create meaningful tools that improve operational efficiency, elevate care delivery, and help build the future of veterinary technology at scale.

Our Opportunity

Chewy is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our growing Health team, passionate about building and scaling the Chewy Vet Care experience. This role will contribute to defining the future of how veterinary teams operate within our ecosystem — across practice management tools, clinical workflows, and customer-facing experiences.

You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations leaders to build intuitive, scalable solutions that support care teams and improve the overall pet parent experience. This is a highly collaborative role that requires systems thinking, strong execution skills, and comfort working within complex, organized environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Build end-to-end experiences that support veterinary teams in delivering high-quality care

  • Improve and evolve workflow-heavy, data-rich tools used daily by practices

  • Partner cross-functionally to translate operational and clinical needs into clear, scalable interaction models

  • Contribute to and apply Chewy’s build system to ensure consistency and usability across enterprise products

  • Support key 2026 Chewy Vet Care initiatives by delivering thoughtful, high-impact build solutions

  • Balance near-term roadmap execution with long-term experience quality and scalability

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of product design experience, ideally within complex or enterprise environments

  • Experience designing applications, passionate about processes, and/or handling large amounts of data (e.g., SaaS, healthcare, operational systems)

  • Strong systems thinking and ability to design for scale

  • Experience working within a design system and collaborating closely with engineering

  • Ability to move fluidly between strategy and hands-on design execution

  • Excellent communication and team member alignment skills

Bonus

  • Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or regulated environments

  • Experience improving or evolving existing platforms at scale

Work Arrangement

  • Hub Locations: Bellevue, WA or Boston, MA

  • Hybrid Model: 3+ days in hub location per week

  • Remote: This role is NOT a remote role.

The base salary range for this role is $149,000 - $245,000.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

We offer different types of insurance and benefits, such as medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident. We offer parental leave, family services benefits, backup dependent care, flexible spending accounts, telemedicine, pet adoption reimbursement, employee assistance program, and many discounts including 10% off pet insurance and 20% off at Chewy.com.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
