Business Intelligence Engineer II
Boston, MA – Marketing Operations – Full time – R30321
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement analytical frameworks to measure the impact of digital assets on customer behavior, operational performance, and financial outcomes.
- Support experiment design, analyze results from product launches and feature enhancements, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable analytics dashboards and reporting solutions that provide accurate, timely, and intuitive insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architectures and data pipelines using SQL to support analytical and reporting needs in alignment with business requirements and data engineering st practices.
- Assess data requirements for Healthcare and related business functions, collaborate with technical teams to deliver proof-of-concept analyses, perform data quality validation, and develop new data tables, metrics, and analytical products.
- Contribute to automation initiatives for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution of recurring reports and datasets to multiple stakeholder groups, maintain and enhance documentation for key metrics and datasets, and participate in data governance and quality assurance processes.
- Document technical designs and analytical work using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git, monitor existing metrics and report outputs, propose refinements and optimizations, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver data-driven insights that support business decision-making.
Other: 5% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, or related position/occupation.
- Alternative Requirements: Masters in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, and 2 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, or related position/occupation.
- Experience or coursework must include:
- Automating data processes, developing dashboards, and building scalable analytics solutions in an ecommerce, omni-channel, or retail setting;
- Managing ETL or data transformation processes, technical architecture documents, and deliver net new or enhancing existing data warehouses;
- Data platforms such as: Snowflake, AWS, Vertica, or comparable data pipelines;
- SQL;
- Writing, debugging, and optimizing SQL queries; and
- Data modeling in large, cloud-based data warehousing/data lake environments.

The base salary range for this role is $161,803.00 to $180,500.00 per year
- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
