Financial Analyst - FP&A

We are seeking a highly motivated, eager to learn FP&A Financial Analyst to enhance our analytical capability. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity on our Central FP&A team. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to support key Forecast and Planning deliverables and learn critical skills to support your own career growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:
FP&A cycle ownership:
Ownership of analysis to provide senior leadership with rationale behind business drivers
Partner with Regional leaders, Product heads, and key corporate stakeholders such as Actuarial & Reinsurance to complete financial cycles and project work in a timely manner
Act as liaison between Global home office and Regional headquarters for cycles submissions and quality control
Drive and support ad hoc analysis to solve emerging business issues
Maintain, update, and distribute key financial reports
FP&A system ownership:
Own specific TM1/NOVA BAU processes and data integrity controls
Support change management for roll-out of innovation projects across Regional headquarters
Identify opportunities and implement changes to automate key processes
Support deployment of Transformation initiatives into FP&A cycle deliverables
Provide basic technical support of system issues for end-user daily operations

Experience
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years of accounting or financial planning & analysis experience
- Insurance industry experience preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Data Science required
- Experience of working within the Finance or Accounting function, with good understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting and related management reporting
- Exposure to an FP&A lifecycle (planning, budgeting, forecast, enterprise-wide KPI & reporting framework, profitability/cost analysis)
- Applied technical foundation with Microsoft Office Suite products and ideally exposure to other advanced software products (i.e., TM1, PeopleSoft, Power BI)
