We’re looking for a proactive, resourceful, positive Lead Business Analyst to drive digital transformation initiatives by analyzing and documenting business processes, identifying opportunities for digital first improvements, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and leadership skills to ensure successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction with a strong focus on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to ensure process excellence and continuous improvement. You will work closely with data, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver customer value, ensuring that your function contributes meaningfully to company goals.
What you'll do
- Work in cross functional scrum teams and with traditional business SMEs to elicit requirements and communicate them in an easily digestible way for digital teams to consume
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications in whatever form is best required (e.g. JIRA stories, BRDs, traceability matrices)
- Analyze and map current business processes; identify gaps and recommend digital solutions for optimization
- Develop business cases, user stories, process flows, and wireframes to support solution design – pseudo code is highly regarded
- Collaborate with IT, UX/UI, and development teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and user needs
- Oversee and mentor more junior analysts; provide guidance on best practices and methodologies
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support change management activities
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital transformation
- Drive change across the markets to adopt new solutions and new digital agile ways of working
- Manage requirements, write stories and manage the product backlog alongside POs and DPMs
- Deliver seamless customer journeys and excellent user experiences collaborating with design and engineering to effectively deliver prioritised features
- Drive cross-functional alignment with market teams such as operations, legal, compliance, customer servicing
- Use data and market insights to make informed decisions
- Ensure user stories, UAT criteria, definition of ready, definition of done and acceptance criteria are clearly documented, and that delivery teams deliver to these documented expectations
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve process quality
- Facilitate process improvement workshops (e.g., Kaizen events) and drive root cause analysis using Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, SIPOC, etc.)
- Ability to create illustrations of varying levels of process maps for different stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Digital Analyst, or similar role
- Proven experience in digital transformation or large-scale projects
- Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements analysis, and solution design
- Demonstrated experience applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to business processes.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Mural, Figma
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
