About the Role
Join Chubb Life Taiwan’s dynamic AI Team as a Junior AI Engineer. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment to develop advanced solutions using analytics and artificial intelligence. You will apply industry best practices to deliver high-quality software products efficiently, while embracing the latest technological innovations.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior team members to understand and analyze business requirements.
Execute assigned tasks diligently, ensuring consistent progress.
Develop high-quality code that aligns with business objectives, quality standards, and secure development practices.
Work closely with business and technical teams to identify improvements and prioritize user stories.
Provide regular progress updates during daily standup meetings.
Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining project timelines and momentum.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics , Statistics or related fields.
1–2 years of experience in Machine Learning (ML), with expertise in writing and reviewing production-grade Python code.
Strong knowledge of ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), with hands-on experience implementing ML algorithms at scale.
Experience in building applications with large language models (LLMs) and leveraging them to enhance AI solutions.
Familiarity with distributed, high-throughput, and low-latency system architectures.
Proficiency in software development using containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and frameworks/tools such as FastAPI and Uvicorn.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools and cloud deployment processes.
Understanding of end-to-end application development using a full-stack approach is a plus.
Experience in life insurance or other financial industry is advantageous.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Azure Cosmos DB.
