PRIMARY DUTIES
Ensure accurate and timely processing of commissions, overrides, and quarterly bonuses for Independent Sales Representatives, strictly adhering to established deadlines and control standards.
Oversee and maintain robust quality control measures in agent commission processing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of payments, incentives, and bonuses, leveraging data analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to management.
Develop and implement automated solutions for commission processing and reporting using advanced tools such as Power BI, Power Query, and Excel VBA macros to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Standardize and document all processes related to agent commission processing, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility for team members and stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile thinking within the department to support ongoing business changes and drive operational excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, strengthen business relationships, and enhance overall operational efficiency in compensation processes.
Coordinate and contribute to ad hoc and cross-functional projects, applying project management skills to deliver departmental improvements and innovative solutions.
Support training and development initiatives for the Field Compensation Team, promoting knowledge sharing, best practices, and professional growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, acting as a key liaison to ensure alignment and effective communication on compensation and control matters.
Perform ad hoc analysis, support change management initiatives, participate in special projects, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful implementation of system and process enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field (strongly preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial analytics, compensation, or a related discipline.
Advanced analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and compensation processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with expertise in data analysis, Power Query, and Power BI.
Skilled in Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for developing and maintaining automation solutions.
Demonstrated experience with project management or participation in cross-functional projects; familiarity with sales compensation design is an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in French is considered an asset, along with a strong commitment to confidentiality, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
